Information we collect

We only request information relevant to providing you with a service, and only use it to help provide or improve our website, https://rubyonice.com.

Log data

When you visit our website, our servers may automatically log the standard data provided by your web browser. This may include your computer’s IP address, your browser type and version, the URLs you requested and the time of your requests.

Mailing list

When you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, we will ask you for your e-mail address to provide you with updates about the conference.

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list by a following a link found at the bottom of each message sent through the mailing list.

Ticket order information

When you purchase a ticket for the conference, we will ask you for information to fulfill your order. This includes:

  • The names of the attendees for which you are buying tickets
  • A contact e-mail address
  • Your billing address

We will also ask you for optional information that will help us provide you with a better experience during the conference. Providing this optional information is not required to purchase a ticket. The optional information includes:

  • Your t-shirt size
  • The place from you are travelling
  • Your dietary requirements
  • Any other requirements you choose to share

How we collect information

We collect information by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used. You are free to refuse our request for this information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services without it.

Use of information

We only use your information to help provide or improve our website.

We may use your information to understand who our visitors are, how they use our services, and how we may improve their experience of our website in future. We do not disclose the specifics of this information publicly.

If you opted into our newsletter, we may use your personal details to contact you with updates about our website and services. If you wish to opt out of receiving our newsletter, you can follow the "unsubscribe" instructions provided alongside newsletter message from us.
